Properties Of Stainless Steel
Understanding the basic properties of stainless steel will help you to choose the correct material for your project.
304 and 316 Stainless Steel have an almost equal strength and machinability. If, your application is in a less corrosive environment, then T-314 would be more than suitable. If on the other hand your environment is very corrosive like, in seawater for instance, then you deffinitely want to go for a T-316 grade stainless steel.
